This was my first Wisconsin Women's soccer game and the game that got me hooked. If you compare this game to more current ones, you'll notice that the athleticism of these ladies necessitated some equipment upgrades from what I had been using to shoot my daughters' games up to this point. I've developed a more consistent editing style over time since this game as well. I remain tempted to reedit this entire game although I did go back and reedit some of my favorites such as the first picture of Rose.
University of Wisconsin Women's soccer team take on South Dakota State in Madison. The Badgers won in double over-time shutting out South Dakota with a score of 1 to 0 due to the contributions of all of the players including an awesome save by Caitlyn Clem punching the ball away to keep it scoreless at 6:47PM with just under 3 minutes left in regulation and then later in the second over-time period at 7:13PM with a goal by #19 Emily Borgmann from an assist (very nice pass) by #3 Rose Lavelle. The pictures speak for the contributions of all the players.
There's no such thing as men's soccer or women's soccer....the game is soccer regardless of who's playing. With 3 daughters playing this game, I see it first hand.
Both my equipment and editing style has change since this game. Checkout this Wisconsin Women's soccer game against Purdue for a good example. Wisconsin vs Purdue
