Rose Lavelle Wisconsin Badgers Women's Soccer 2016 season. Rose was recently drafted #1 in the National Women's Soccer League college draft to the Boston Breakers. On March 4th 2017, Rose became the 14th player to earn her first cap under U.S. coach Jill Ellis.

“I thought she did great,” United States women’s national team head coach Jill Ellis said. “It’s her first cap, and five minutes of nerves and she settled into that game and she was one of the best players on the park. So, that was fantastic.”

The thing that really stood out to me was just her being brave … she looked comfortable out there, which is a really good sign for somebody in their first cap.
