Wisconsin improved to 12-2-3 overall with a 6-1-3 record in Big Ten play. Nebraska (8-5-4, 4-2-3 Big Ten) fell to 19th-ranked Wisconsin by a 1-0 margin at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex. The Huskers had gone 10 consecutive games scoring at least one goal, dating back to Sept. 6, before the loss to the Badgers.

The Badgers’ Lauren Rice scored from just inside the box off an assist from Victoria Pickett for her seventh goal of the season. NU outshot UW by a 9-8 margin, including a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal however Wisconsin found the back of the net in the 25th minute and never looked back.

At 24:15, Lauren Rice shot the only goal by either team in the match.
