On October 9, 2025, the Wisconsin Badgers women's soccer made program history with a 1–0 victory over the No. 9 UCLA Bruins women's soccer, marking the Badgers’ first-ever win against UCLA. The match took place at the McClimon Soccer Complex in Madison, Wisconsin.
The decisive moment came in the 54th minute when Adee Boer found the back of the net off an assist from Kiara Gilmore. Despite limited offensive chances, Wisconsin made the most of its opportunity and protected the lead the rest of the way.
Goalkeeper Drew Stover delivered a standout performance in net, recording seven saves to preserve the shutout. The Badgers were outshot 14–3 during the match, but disciplined defending and timely goalkeeping sealed the historic result.
The victory also marked Wisconsin’s third win over a Top-10 opponent during the 2025 season, highlighting a year in which the Badgers proved they could compete with some of the nation’s best programs.
