The Wisconsin Badgers women's soccer team bested Butler 2-1 in round one of the NCAA Tournament thanks to a pair of goals from senior Natalie Viggiano thereby advancing to the second round. The Badgers (9-5-6) scored in the first half and held the lead until the 70th minute, when the Bulldogs (15-5-1) tied the score. Just five minutes later, on a full-field counter attack, Wisconsin regained the lead 2-1 and never looked back.
